Ice, driftwood, foamy waves and … skateboards? Four skaters head north to the cold Norwegian coast, applying their urban skills to a wild canvas of beach flotsam, frozen sand and pastel skies. The result is a beautiful mashup — biting winds and short days, ollies and a frozen miniramp.

  2. When we started working on the official Opening Titles for TOCA ME 2017, our goal was to create a cinematic title sequence which subtly hints at the amazing speaker line-up, featuring creatives like Joshua Davis, GMUNK, Mario Klingemann, Seb Lester, Keiichi Matsuda and Dominic Wilcox.

This year’s theme, to “DREAM BIG” led us to create a surreal and intriguing journey—beginning with gentle camera moves which reveal a bizzare and mysterious world, slowly discovering a sleeping girl who dreams of creativity and ideas, which we visualized by projecting glimpses of each artist’s work on to her face.

We used an ultra-high-res face scan of a model, created by Daniel Hennies, which is only illuminated by those projected sequences on its various surfaces. Each shot was precisely crafted to progress outwards from a macro-level of detail, and continuously reveal more and more of the subject.

  3. Fabian Weber's short film debut.

Auditory perception is triggered by tonal phenomenona, such as language and music. These stimuli are the gateway to recent and distant memories of all kinds, the sequences of pleasant and often unpleasant experiences that shape and accompany us throughout our lives. They are part of us and make us who we are today.

An emotional homage to Switzerland, nature, music and life in all its facets.

  4. TRUSST was commissioned to create two videos for the CREA advertising awards. An opening piece was created to inaugurate the ceremony as well as a video featuring the jury panel. We also developed the scenographic direction of the evening alongside the Infopresse team.

The opening video, seen here, features abstract visualizations that consider how an idea might look like as its taking shape. We explored the beauty of tangents that often occur during a brainstorm session: if a concept were tangible, how would it appear?

  5. The closer we approach the eventual reality of interacting with AI, the more it becomes interesting to start imagining different ways it can take form. For us, it’s robotic, nearly amusing and certainly beautiful.

Trusst partnered with Kinova Robotics to simulate forms of behaviour between human and robot. At the intersection of beauty and uncanny valley exists Mary.
