Digital Urban Environments

Nordlys is an interactive urban sound- and light installation. The soundscape is designed to create a calming and relaxing atmosphere in the centre of Horsens in Denmark, next to Vor Frelsers Kirke. When using the swings you active light and an ever-changing soundscape. Through this, you are invited into another universe, where pure timbres from i.a. bells braces the surrounding ambient light experience.

The installation can be experienced all year.

This is an interview (in danish) with the Mayor of Horsens Kommune, Peter Sørensen and citizens from Horsens telling about their experience with the installation.

A subtitled version will be uploaded in a near future.
