Welcome on the Under The Pole II - Discovery Greenland web series! This video summarizes the project, its goals, the diving and scientific programs as well as the itinerary of the expedition boat, the WHY. Discover some of the images of the preparation shot in Concarneau, Bretagne, France to fully measure the logistical challenge that the team has to take up. In only a few weeks, the WHY will cast off its deck and all the team on board will leave on a nearly 2-years long adventure to discover Greenland's underwater world. With this web series, you are invited to join them on this trip!

Made with a Canon t2i w/ Canon EFs 17-55mm f/2.8 and Sony HVR-V1E. Some footage is from the first Under The Pole expedition: Deep Sea Under The Pole by ROLEX. The underwater shots were made with a Sony HVR-V1E in a Subspace waterproof case. All underwater shots from Ghislain Bardout. More recent footage of Greenland (the dogsleds) were shot in 2010 during the location scouting for the Discovery Greenland expedition. The video was edited on Premiere Pro CS6 and graded with Colorista II.
