  4. Dr Nabil Harfoush presents Futures of Canadian Identities, an action research project conducted by the Resilience Design Lab at OCAD University for Canadian Heritage in 2016/2017. The project had an explicit focus on building capacity for engaging with complex issues and a strong knowledge transfer orientation. A strategic foresight investigation of the futures of Canadian identities was used as an experiential learning platform for various elements of the complexity toolkit.

In particular, the talk will focus on the perhaps most relevant aspect, which is deep contextual understanding. Futurologi puts forward the critical findings of over 20 micro-conferences and workshops to further exploration of the deployment of reality across a series of layers. Futures Festival ’18 expands the series to a global Diverse Futures audience.
