1. The Ribbon Eel (Rhinomuraena quaesita) lives in the coral reefs of Southeast Asia. A long and slender moray eel, the ribbon eel grows to almost 4 feet long. The ribbon eel is a protandrous hermaphrodite, starting out life as a male and transforming into a female. This transformation is shown in the video along with narration and music. About 2.5 minutes long.

    This Bentstick Pipefish, Trachyrhamphus bicoarctatus, was filmed in Southern Leyte, Philippines, in February 2013. Of the 200 species of pipefish, the Bentstick is one of the largest, growing to 15 inches. A signature behavior of the Bentstick Pipefish is sitting on its tail, shown in this video. The pipefish is also shown moving and eating.
