An electric coffee grinder might last five years. Contrast that with this tea grinder, which was on display at the Expo West Natural Products show in Anaheim, Calif. in March of 2010. Part of a display by a Japanese tea company, this particular two-piece granite device has been grinding green tea leaves into powdered tea - known as matcha - for 400 years.
