With this easy to make device, you're right audio channel will be 18db lower than the left channel, giving you a safety track! This way you're audio won't peak or distort!

This attenuator we're making is perfect for run and gun filming situations. If your audio peaks or distorts, you have the -18db track to use. This makes setting levels easier knowing we have two different audio levels to work with.

You can use any stereo connector (male, female, XLR etc).

A Pen or similarly sized cylinder.
