Atomium was built in Brussels in 1958 for the Brussels World's Fair. It was designed by engineer André Waterkeyn and shaped in the form of a unit cell of an iron crystal, only enlarged 165 billion times!

All images of Atomium are copyright Atomium, but I was extremely fortunate to be allowed full access, after hours to create this project, purely for the love of photography, time-lapse and architecture and design.

I want to thank everyone at Atomium for making me feel welcome and granting me access. I am eternally grateful!

I shot this time-lapse over 5 nights and 2 days in my spare time whilst on a working trip to Brussels. In all I shot 27 sequences on my Canon 5Dii in CR2 (small) for speed of processing. I didn't need to be creating anything above 1920x1080 for this project.

I was also extremely fortunate and thrilled to work again with my good friend Athar Saeed, who has once again crafted a fantastic soundtrack! THANK YOU Athar!

    Kit used:

    Canon 5D mkii
    Canon 24mm 1.2 prime
    Canon 17mm TS-E

A few people have asked, and I wanted to re-iterate that the Atomium team was kind enough to grant me full written permission to shoot. Atomium is copyrighted.

  2. There’s more to Transylvania than Dracula, fairy-tale castles and medieval cities. For me it is a land of myth with breathtaking scenery, picturesque villages, virgin forests and well-preserved fortified churches. It’s like stepping back in time to a place where traditions are kept from generation to generation and where man and nature coexist. It’s a timeless place.

The filming took 12 days in October while we visited the following locations: Trascău Mountains (in the Apuseni Mountain range), Târnava and Hârtibaci Plateau (inside Sighişoara-Sibiu-Braşov triangle) and Moieciu. We were very lucky to catch the morning mist in Biertan, Viscri and Aries Valley.

The gear used: Nikon D7200, Nikon D7000, DJI Phantom 4 and a motorized slider. The film is edited in 4k 60 fps for a smooth camera motion. Drone footage was recorded in 24 fps and sped up to match the 60 fps format.

  3. Aerial shots from Meteora, Greece, shot with a DJI Phantom 2 and GoPro Hero 4 in 4K. Expedition Series Kit assembled by DSLRPros.

Filmed by Max Seigal (email: max@seagullaerial.com)

Meteora is a breathtakingly beautiful destination in central Greece. The etymology, translating to "middle of the sky", "suspended in the air" or "in the heavens above" is exactly the emotion response one feels when they enter this place. There are six monasteries built on the tops of natural sandstone rock pillars, with unbelievable architecture and an incredible history. Metéora is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The creative relationship with Innocean’s CD Lewis Hunt set the stage for Trizz to work in high gear on Hyundai’s iconic new approach relating to the automobile companies design sensibilities.

The film warps nature, informs details with transformation and extreme photo real manipulations carried by Trizz founding Director, Oriol Puig’s vision - pushing boundaries between 3d, reality and pure experimentation (directed dancers on mocap for the fluidic golden wave sequence). In total, this and the Genesis film assures a goose bump inducing cinematic visual journey in 4k.

Trizz provided the full package:  concept, design, exterior drone shoot, special in-studio shoot rigs, animation, grading & vfx. Hand made at the Barcelona studio.
