KISS 98.7 FM Birmingham presents "1963 - The Year That Changed Everything." A film that explores the events of 1963 in Birmingham Alabama that resulted in changes all over America in the following decades. Through historical photos and film footage, "1963" will bring perspective to younger people as to the conditions facing African Americans during that time. From Governor George Wallace's defiant inauguration speech to the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church, viewers will hear what it was like to be there from the people who were. The one hour film is produced and directed by John Jenkins of EdgeVideo Productions and is being presented by Cox Media's WBHK-FM. It will be distributed for free during 2013 on DVD by the station.
