20th March 2015

This half day event considered ways that staff and students have addressed gaps in students’ work related knowledge and skills, providing insights and examples of the ways in which a degree programme enables better employment outcomes. By exploring links between curriculum design, teaching and employability, it addressed questions about how the university can help to develop the attributes our students need and rise to the challenge of developing globally competitive graduates within and across subject disciplines. It examined some new and existing strategic partnerships and opportunities to enhance graduate skills, and highlighted the key messages that we need to promote to our students and ourselves. A range of different speakers, from a wide range of programmes and disciplines presented and discussed successful case studies.
