I produced, directed and edited this video about the history of political activism within the California Nurses Association. This is the second history video produced for CNA. I worked as Associate Producer and archivist on the first history video.

This film takes up where the previous film left off. Nurses had just won the fight of their life, for nurse-to-patient ratios in California. Then Arnold Schwarzenegger became Governor, and all hell broke loose. Nurses began a new fight to save the ratios, and protect quality patient care.

I am the video producer for the California Nurses Association/National Nurses United. I make educational videos about issues of importance to nurses, both economic and political.

I'm also the producer/director of my own documentary, Where the Heart Is: The Power of Eminent Domain. The film is currently in production and is about the way in which eminent domain laws have historically shaped communities of color, and how a new, revolutionary use of eminent domain being pioneered in Richmond, California offers residents there hope instead of the hardship of foreclosure.
