Every Frame a Painting
Dedicated to the analysis of film form. Pictures and sound all the way, baby.
I befriended a boy on the streets of Havana. We made a (very) short and mysterious film together.
It is very interesting to note that the examples the narrator gives make sense. Cutting by instinct depending on the scene is something I would have never thought of.I always thought that there were strict guidelines to follow, of course there should be some, but this is not the case. These little tips and pieces of advice are extremely helpful to improve my editing skills. The way of cutting by "rhythm" has encourage me to keep practicing more and more to become an outstanding editor. Very well done explained video by Tony Zhou.
