This short movie is a drama based on the perspective of the protagonist. The protagonist wrote in her diary the love and death experience that she experienced in which she felt happened in an instant. It's a narrative style of short film in which the protagonist tells the story.
I was playing around the latest version of iMovie and I saw this trailer function added to it so I decided to make one for my film. Anyway, here is the finished version of the trailer for my short film The Watch. I was just following the instructions that iMovie has given me so hopefully it looks alright :) LOL,, anyways enjoy watching it :D and like it when you like it.. >
So yeah, this is the first ever film that I shot and edited. It's not that good obviously because it was my first time shooting a film. I originally wanted to shoot my first film with dialogues but the actors that I chose weren't really fond of talking in front of a camera so I decided to make a narration style film where my characters doesn't have to talk in the video. I did this film for my AS level Moving Image Arts course. During my shooting, my family and my actress' family went home to my home country which is the Philippines which worked out well for me because it meant that I will be able to film in a different environment, especially when most coursework films are shot just within Northern Ireland. Anyway, the story of my film is centred around a teenage girl who lost her beloved mother and found hope in God through her Christian friends and music.
