  2. The Museo Civico Medievale in collaboration with the Basilica di San Petronio of Bologna opened the exhibition Giovanni da Modena. Un pittore all'ombra di San Petronio on 12th December, curated by Daniele Benati and Massimo Medica.
    This 20 mn video was produced by Factum Arte based on high resolution recordings of the two Crucifixions and the Bolognini Chapel that adorn the walls of two chapels in San Petronio. The work was commissioned by the Museo Civico Medievale and carried out with the help of the Factum Foundation.

  3. The recording by a team of Factum Arte in the tomb of Tutankhamun in 2009 resulted in high resolution 3D recording of the surfaces of the tomb and high resolution photographic recording. Nearly 10 000 photographs were stitched together to produce very large image files for all the walls. This video takes you through this data and shows details of the walls.

  5. The Lucida is seen here recording a three dimensional routed image of 'Head' by Henry Hudson. Hudson works in coloured plasticine creating deep relief surfaces of his subjects. The scanner head can be seen moving above the surface - the projected red laser light is distorted by the surface relief and its track is separately recorded in black and white by two video heads to create a high resolution point cloud of the surface.
