FENCES: Living History Simulations and Projects

The Fences Project is an annual living history simulation that seeks to immerse students in a given time period over the course of a night. In 2017, iUniversity Prep launched Fences: The Crisis, a project which brought students to the White House in 1962 during the 13 days of the Cuban Missile Crisis. What follows is the documentary of that night's events, from the first notification of the missile's existence to the final tense moments as the world comes to the brink of nuclear war.

The Fences Project is an event where volunteer students, at an all-night, "lock-in" type event, role-play a past time under the guidance of several teachers. The goal is to transport students to a different time, to completely immerse themselves in a different mindset, and "live" another life for just one night. We'll plan it for you, based on the historical subject or time-period of your choice, and then we can provide the actors, props, camera crew, and, finally, the documentary of the night's events on DVD.

On this channel you'll find the trailers and full documentaries of the Fences Projects!
