The sprawling San Francisco Transbay Transit Terminal was permanently closed on August 7th, 2010, after 72 years, to make way for the new Transbay Transit Center, which is scheduled for completion in August, 2017.
The Transbay Transit Terminal had long been home to hundreds of homeless, because of it's shelter and accessible bathrooms. With the closing of the terminal most of the homeless have been forced to evacuate but a few have refused to leave what they consider their home.
For this issue, Robin and Andy offer up a post-modern look at everyday life, as it revolves around a single intersection. It puts into question the ideas of individuality and interconnectedness, through 360 degrees of exposure.
