Train Station in St Petersburg, Florida comes alive as John Balistreri , Chris
Gusttin and Don Reitz walk you through the Loading, Firing and Opening
of the premier Anagama Kiln in the southeastern United States. Filmed over the
course of two firings "Fire Painting" shares the intricacies of the preparation
and firing of over nine hundred pieces of handmade art for seven days and nights, revealing techniques and
philosophies of three of the most respected wood firing ceramic artist in the
country. “Fire Painting” exhibit’s the communal cooperation essential for firing a successful Anagama Kiln, producing amazing effects and beautiful art. Leaving the viewer with a new respect for the artist and art, which comes forth from this community endeavor.
