Powderhall Bronze is a foundry, they provide a full casting service from consultancy to production, and also do enlarging, reducing and restoration work in Edinburgh.
Established in 1989, Powderhall Bronze is one of Scotland's premiere fine art foundries who also specialise in conservation and restoration services. The original success of the foundry stems from a dedication to produce the highest quality bronze sculpture. This has been achieved by combining traditional lost wax casting techniques with modern materials such as patina. The foundry also run regular classes as well as studio spaces for sculptors.
Black Isle Bronze are a specialist bronze and aluminium casting foundry in Nairn, Highland.
The team use both lost wax and sandcasting techniques, from a purpose built foundry. Working on large scale architectural and fine art commissions through to heritage memorials, statues, plaques and smaller scale projects. The technicians can work from drawings, models or concepts to deliver a complete bronze service. There is also a quality finishing and installation service. Previous projects include Twickenham Stadium, Lords Cricket Ground, Ascot Racecourse and Bank tube station, London.
