Boto Joseph, a pastor in Jackson Heights, N.Y., has been a part of the Coats for the City outreach for years. Through the contacts made in the outreach, his church was able to walk with an immigrant couple as Jesus transformed their lives.
Coats for the City started in 2011 when an association in New York City partnered with a church in North Carolina. Seven years later, North Carolina churches have donated over 4,000 coats to share the love of Jesus through local New York City churches.
