This work, commissioned by GDance, was created by their inclusive youth dance company in collaboration with Bristol-based director Lisa May Thomas.  The company journey through Blackfriar’s Priory, exploring moments of restriction and freedom found in their relationships with the site and each other.

  2. Reflections is based on a poem written by Swithin Fry, and explores expression of movement from the individual dancers. It is a collaborative piece of dance, drama and music. The piece was choreographed for stage and adapted for film by Karen Perrins.

  3. Feast was filmed on location at Berkeley Castle, October 2011
    The full edited version is 7.46 minutes " Jumping in time from past to present and back again"
    but this version is the live dance performance without this additional film/story telling technique.

    Feast portrays the fluctuations of family relationships, the tensions and moments of harmony that play out around the dinner table. Jumping in time from past to present and back again, the dance is set against the rich tapestries and grandeur of Gloucestershire's Berkeley Castle.

  4. Filmed on location at Cheltenham's Pittville Pump Rooms

    Co-produced with internationally renowned integrated dance company Candoco, this quirky, fun film features GDance's 2010/11 youth company GD:Inc and the former Cheltenham School Sports Partnership dance company Top Cat. The cast of disabled and non-disabled dancers unite to dance us through a day in the life of Mr Ferguson.
