Susie Singer Carter (Executive Producer/Creator/Writer) Don Priess (Executive Producer/Creator/Writer)
Susie Singer Carter is a writer/producer who has an intense passion for projects that emphasize girl power of all kinds - for all ages.
Susie began her career as VP of Development/Exec Producer: at Sweet Lorraine Productions where she developed, wrote and produced scripted and reality based programming including “ALYX,” a one-hour pilot written by Melissa Rosenberg (“Dexter”) for Maverick/Touchstone and starred Marla Sokoloff. She reported to Ehrich Van Lowe, CEO/Show runner.
After forming Go Girl Media, Susie hit the ground running, creating strong partnerships and relationships with entertainment companies such as CBS, E! Entertainment, Lifetime, Fox Studios, Granada International, Triage Entertainment, Brookwell McNamara Entertainment, PBS, Film Roman, The Wolper Organization, Hearst Entertainment and Jeff Margolis Productions, to name a few. These partnerships have yielded various projects in the genres of reality television, animation, features, talk shows, and kids' programming.
In 2006, she partnered with Don Priess and together they Executive Produced and wrote two series, “CAKE” and “DANCE REVOLUTION” (yes, at the same time!), for CBS's Secret Saturday Morning block, DIC Entertainment and Brookwell McNamara Entertainment (“SOUL SURFER”, “THAT'S SO RAVEN”, “EVEN STE- VENS”). “CAKE” was nominated for a prestigious Environmental Media Award in the category of Children's Live Action Television.
2007 marked Susie’s foray into the world of features when she wrote the screenplay and produced BRATZ: THE MOVIE for Lionsgate and Avi Arad Productions.
After Bratz, Susie and Don resumed creating and producing a variety of projects - including “SURVIVING HAWKING”, a half-hour animated pilot for Fox Television Studios starring Bryan Cranston, Adam Brody and Christine Taylor.
In 2010, Susie served as co-producer on the feature film, “SOUL SURFER (2011),” for Sony, Mandalay and Brookwell McNamara. Soul Surfer garnered a wealth of positive attention and success, earning the title of top grossing surf movie of all time exceeding "Point Break" and “Blue Crush”. SOUL SURFER was nominated for two 2011 Teen Choice Awards (Best Dramatic Film and Best Actress) as well as a prestigious EPSY Award for best film.
Last year, Susie launched “MISSY HEART”, a new animated IP for pre-tweens - or as she call them, the “5-9ers” - as well as a tween-targeted animated IP titled “F.A.W.E. 4 FORCE”.
This year, Susie is in development on several projects including TRASHIONISTA (TeenNick) and a feature called “SCREAM QUEENS”, boasting contributions from co-creators Dean Batali (EP of “BUFFY” and “THAT 70'S SHOW”), Max Brooks (“SNL”, “WORLD WAR Z”, and “THE ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE”) and Sean Cunningham (“FRIDAY THE 13TH”, “LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT”).
Most recently, Susie has partnered with Randy Alpert (nephew of Herb Albert) to develop a one-hour pilot, THE LABEL-- The A&M Records Project, for Fox Television Studios.

I write and produce for Television and Film. I'm a color junkie. I adore children and the elderly and tolerate the ones in the middle....
