During Spring 2011, thirty-four DC residents participated in an intensive green job training program called the Washington Parks & People District of Columbia Green Corps. Through a collaboration with Meridian Hill Pictures, the trainees used video storytelling to express in their own voice how urban forestry and greening are helping to meet critical needs in underserved communities in DC.

These trainees and their stories are part of a documentary feature currently in production. To learn more about supporting the feature by holding a public screening of these short films, contact Lance [at] meridianhillpictures.com
