  1. Ivan Boothe performs "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" (Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming) solo on handbells. Merilee Johnston accompanies on keyboard.

    Ivan opens with the "singing bell" technique, then plays two verses of the hymn, each on an octave of handbells.

    This piece was performed on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2010, at Mountain View United Methodist Church, Cottonwood, Arizona.
