Farmers involved: Goranson Farm, Dig Deep Farm, Crescent Run Farm, Morning Dew Farm, Sheepscot General at Uncas Farm, Treble Ridge Farm, Wholesome Holmstead, Winterberry Farm, Pagett Farm and Fresh Start Farm. Schools involved: Wiscassett, Gardiner, Winslow, Winthrop, Palermo, Whitefield, Camden Hills Regional, Augusta, Maranacook and Lisbon. CSA: Community Supporting Arts is a project of the Harlow Gallery and the KVAA in partnership with the Kennebec Local Food Initiative partnering 14 artists with 13 CSA (community supported agriculture) farms in Maine to promote both local art and local food. The artists created art inspired by their farmers’ lives, work, landscapes, challenges and ideals over the 2012 growing season.   4. Filmed and edited by a Maine 6th grader, ARTASTIC! stars two young artists creating art at the Harlow Gallery in Hallowell, Maine. ARTASTIC! was made to help promote Young at Art, coming to the Harlow Gallery in March in honor of "youth art month". There will be two exhibitions of artwork by students from central Maine, the first, Higher Forms of Art, on view March 2-12, 2011, will feature work by high school students. Young at Art K-8 will be on view March 16-26.

  5. The Drawing Story is an exhibit curated by Amy Ray for the Harlow Gallery in Hallowell, Maine, June 3-25, 2011. The Monthly Art Talk was given by Solon, Maine, artist Abby Shahn whose work is featured in the exhibit.

    Abby traces her life as an artist over the last half-century and touches on events, places, and people who have influenced some of the series she has produced.
