This is a story I shot for Sunrise on Channel 7 recently in Kenya. It's at the Dadaab refugee camp where every day, 1000 Somali refugees make their way into the camp seeking food, water and a safer place to live. Host is the wonderful Melissa Doyle, producer Tim Davies and myself shooting/sound and editing. It was a very hectic shoot and we only ended up with 4hrs in the camp. It was incredibly rushed and while this isn't my favourite piece of work, I still wanted to share it as it was a mission to get in and out of Dadaab. My favourite form to fill out before shooting this was a bit of paper that said neither World Vision or Channel 7 will pay a ransom if your kidnapped! Awesome!!
