Ever since Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha's owner Clay Chang was a child, he dreamed of owning his own crack seed store, and many years later Chang's dream became a reality. Unfortunately, due to the economic downturn of 2008, Chang's store was in danger of being shut down permanently. Seeing the love and care his uncle put into the store and his customers, Bronson Chang used a web-based funding technique to raise over $60,000 to save the store. Now, Uncle Clay's House of Pure Aloha will be staying open for many people to enjoy. This story was produced by students at Mid-Pacific Institute.
