Inspired by Kamehameha Schools founder Princess Berenice Pauahi Bishop, Senior Service Day was developed as a way for students to care for and serve their community. The service day is a massive effort with seniors devoting their time to serving fifteen communities annually. As a group project, it has taught students to develop deep connections to the Hawaiian culture, and has given them a strong sense of character and responsibility. Through these efforts students hope to continue Princess Pauahi's legacy and create a better future for Hawaii.
