Since 1910, the Hasegawa General Store has been serving its customers with care and aloha through its family-based roots. The Hasegawa General Store holds stories of different times in history. But life hasn't always been easy for its owners. In 1989, the store was set ablaze and burned to the ground. An investigation concluded that the cause of the fire may have been arson. The owners of the Hana Ranch were kind enough to let the Hasegawa family use an old theater to set up shop again. Now, 24 years after the fire, the Hasegawa General Store will be rebuilt in its first location. The community is looking forward to this new phase in the history of Hana's icon general store.
