Hofstra Today began in the Spring of 2011. It is a live 30-minute program that airs Wednesday’s at noon. Originally produced by the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA,) Hofstra Today is now being produced by both RTDNA and Hofstra Entertainment Access Television (H.E.A.T.) The program features the top stories of the day, including local, national, and international news, along with the day’s weather report, and sports update. In addition, Hofstra Today aims to be more than a newscast, featuring interviews with Hofstra club leaders, members of the faculty and the Hofstra community. The show’s reporting team can be found all over Long Island covering a wide variety of stories that matter to Hofstra and Long Island. As the tagline states, our show is made up of those stories and more, happening at and around Hofstra Today.
