In August of 2013, ICT & Digital Media Los Angeles Region did a series of episodes for its proposed video series DIGITAL MEDIA INDUSTRY INSIDERS. The pilots were shot at the Los Angeles Valley College Krupnick Broadcast Center using a variety of student (and recent grad) assistants as the production team. Many of these episodes will be reshot in the series' newer, more comprehensive format but these pilots will remain available.
ANIMATION - MARIO WILLIAMS
Mario Williams is an animator who has worked at numerous companies including Hannah Barbera. In this video, he discusses with actor Phil Biedron the process of hand animation.
CINEMATOGRAPHY - MARTY MULLIN
Veteran cinematographer Marty Mullin discusses the differences between film and video; new technologies in camera; and how a Director of Photography interacts with talent.
