Izzie Award (2013) winning "Line Between" was created collaboratively, initially by Shinichi Iova-Koga and Dohee Lee as a theatrical dance duet, which expanded to include Dana Iova-Koga as Director, Amy Rathbone (installation), Allen Willner (lighting), Frank Lee (set pieces) and Alice Wu (costumes) as visual collaborators (all recepients of the Izzie "Outstanding Achievement in VISUAL DESIGN), Suki O'Kane and Jason Ditzian as composer/performers and Peiling Kao as an invisible person.

The theme: intrusion of the dream world into the waking world.

inkBoat productions are a collaborative endeavor. There is always a seed, a starting place. But in the end, the production is realized through the imagination and suffering and joy of the team. For Line Between, we started with hypnagogia, moved to Edith Piaf, 그대 내 사랑 조금만더 나의 곁에 머물러줘 and Johnny Cash, graduated to absurd propositions, walks on the beach collecting stones, The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes, turning 2 to 3, moving like Sangmo Hat while pondering Automatism, Context Reinstatement and Crik and Mitchinson's Cleanup. In the end, it’s all of this and none of us… or the other way ‘round.
