Stop-motion music video with the indie rock band, OK Go. Produced for Sesame Street by Marty Abrahams. Directed by Al Jarnow.
This version features the color corrections originally intended by director of photography, Jeff Turick. The version which unfortunately premiered on the Rolling Stone website and subsequently aired on Sesame Street had never been treated and was muddy and dark.
Jeff Turick and his company 422 Films provide production services and camera crews for small- to mid-sized digital and video productions in the greater New York City area, New Jersey and beyond. You can view more of Jeff's work at NewYorkDirectorofPhotography.com.
This is the music video to the song "Submarine Test January 1967" by John Mayer. I used a pre-cinema technique called ombro cinema to animate the drawings made by Virginia Mori. Everything was filmed in live-action, no post production effects were employed.
