  2. So, it has been about a year and a half since I traveled to Southeast Asia with fellow students from Logsdon Seminary and School of Theology to learn about the people, culture, and religious climate of region. I have been editing this little piece on and off during that time and I finally put the finishing touches on it this November. I tried to organize the footage into four parts: nature, city, the arts, and the sacred. However, as we came to find during our journey, almost all of these concepts continuously overlap in Malaysia and Indonesia. Cats and flowers in sacred spaces, places of worship surrounded by greenery, shrines in marketplaces, ballets about gods, and art made for worship. Please enjoy this glimpse into life in Southeast Asia with its terrifying traffic, creative people, and awe-inspiring scenery.

**Forgive me for some of the shakiness. Hand holding a DSLR is not fun. Oh, how I wish I would have had a shoulder rig for this trip!!!

Throughout my time at Logsdon Seminary, I was presented with three opportunities to travel abroad as a part of my degree. On these trips I was able to learn about cultures different from my own, see God at work across the world, and create pieces that encompassed our experiences. All three of these videos chronicle the journeys taken by myself and my fellow classmates. The video made in Greece was my first significant attempt at DSLR videography so there are some significant issues with quality. I did not have any sort of steadying equipment for any of my travels hence the shakiness of much of the footage. In spite of these issues, I hope viewers can feel the spirit of each wonderful adventure and understand the types of formative experiences the students underwent during our time abroad.
