  2. Haru Chikashi chronicles a journey through the Japanese islands of Hokkaido, Honshu and Kyushu in late winter and early spring.

    The film was captured using a Sony HDR-FX1E camera and was composed using the Panavision aspect ratio. It was post-processed using Final Cut Pro and Magic Bullet Looks.

  4. This is a little informative documentary on Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo. It is the largest outdoor market in the world. This footage was shot by my father while on a tour of the entire market in May 2005. I edited together the footage and added information for a editing class project.

    This video also contains footage of the tuna auction bids which was closed to the public after our visit there because a foreign tourist was injured and people coming in and out of the auction area was making the fish defrost. I believe there is a newer market area with actual viewing windows today.

  5. Amy rented this kimono from a shop near Kiyomizu-dera. Everybody already thought she is Japanese but this outfit just nailed it. Apparently the little-steps walk is forced by the constraints of the clothing. We had a fun day.
