This short video is quick introduction to JISC Historic Books - an online platform that offers access to the full text of digital images of 350,000 historic books published in Britain from 1475 to 1900. In one single place, users can search Early English Books Online, Eighteenth Century Collections Online and a collection of over 65,000 nineteenth century books from the British Library. All cleared for educational use by students, teachers and researchers at UK colleges and universities search across all three collections, read online, print – explore the first ever book published, read original printings of Shakespeare, learn about GB and its colonies, view literature from the 19th Century - just a small sample of what’s available in JISC Historic Books.
