"Willowy and delicate, she wanders through the serenity of her hillside home. Strolling through the wild woods, a free-spirit with an alluring stare, the deep sapphire blue of a bohemian soul, a purple romance in her heart...she finds solace in the magic of her spirit. A dream weaver all her own, realising peace in stillness and the beauty possessed within, she floats alongside a cool autumn breeze..."
This collection embraces the light and dark of a woman’s soul as she moves to the flow of her own rhythm, like the flow of the seasons, celebrating being in her own bliss. From her strength she is self-defined, sacred, and nurturing; a life giver dancing upon the Earth and eventually returning to Her once more.
With visions of rejoicing, we created silhouettes drawn in a dramatic finish, flowing and cascading to the ground, others softly draping and caressing the body with absolute comfort, all designed with versatility and individuality. Bringing alongside a compliment of deep colours and rich hues to silently awaken the siren within, this is the palette of a golden season, filled with laughter, love, and charm.
Calling on a bohemian desire for universal tranquility and the essence of intuitive wisdom, we invite you to share a journey to reconnect with your own rhythm…the rhythm of your soul.
Spelly saw Fa' from a distance at our local cafe in Byron Bay and knew instantly we had to have her in our next shoot. Ignorant that Fa was actually one of Bali's most well known models, Spelly skipped up to her and whispered 'um, excuse me - but would you, um, model for us?' – Fa was gracious and generous and after visiting our boutique agreed to do a shoot the next day! Operation "pull a shoot together in 24 hours!"
Fa, it turns out, is gorgeously down to earth, friendly, generous and an incredible model to work with. I told her my idea for this shoot - which was 'no matter how free you feel floating around the world on gypsy adventures - sometimes you're never as free as you feel in the quiet and solitude of your own home...'
We shot in my little home in Broken Head on dark and sultry afternoon - with Stevie Nicks and the tall gum trees whispering in the wind - I think we captured the feeling perfectly.
