  3. Even though Kevin & I didn’t write the film - it was written by Maurice Telford of The Cumberland Owl - it features Kevin's dulcet tones throughout, and he still managed to sneak one of his classic nuclear jokes into the script; the Strontium 90 / Grecian 2000 / Kawasaki 750 section that was originally used in that ICA performance about Lowca & Sellafield. Recently, I found the master tape of Kevin’s original voiceover recording and decided to re-make the soundtrack from scratch, using the sort of futuristic, atomic synthesizers I would have liked to have had on it in the first place, whilst making sure that Kevin’s voice was very much at the forefront of the mix.

A pipe smoking, bar room raconteur with a jet-black sense of humour and a love of Johnny Cash… Kevin was like no one I had ever met before. He was the very definition of a dichotomy. Rock hard and yet soft as a pussy-cat, no-nonsense but utterly avant-garde. A rebel, in a sensible suit and tie.
