Wave-washed Sands is s a 9 balloons sculpture represent an ancient Chinese poem, Wave-washed Sand. The central balloon represents the first person view of the poet, and the other 8 are the surrounding world. Going through different phases as the poem is read, the balloons use separate movements, inflation, deflation and vibration to represent different feelings.
