  2. The purpose of this spot is to serve as a thank you to anyone who has donated to the American Red Cross. When people think about donating blood or money, some people, especially those who might be new to it, can regard the process as either complicated or time-consuming. Because of this, I wanted to keep the design and animation of this piece as simple and clean as possible, to best communicate the simplicity of donating.

  4. When going through darkness, hope can be hard to find. More so than not, the season brings doubt, dryness, and loneliness. But what if I said that there is light to be found in the dark? The purpose of this piece is to encourage anyone lost in the darkness, and boldly claim that this season may be what they need to move forward.

Also know as Kinetic typography — the technical name for "moving text"—is an animation technique mixing motion and text. This text is presented over time in a manner intended to convey or evoke a particular idea or emotion. It is often studied in Communication Design and Interaction Design courses. Some commonly seen examples of this technique include movie title sequences and credits, web page animation and other entertainment media.
