“Sometimes it is hard to imagine what I have never experienced, but sometimes, that is the only way”. In Flying, the filmmaker brings you into her journey of longing and search for faith. Her grandmother (ajji) has recently passed away and Ghandi tells her, “There is a mysterious indefinable power that pervades everything, I feel it, though I do not see it”. The filmmaker /narrator confesses, “I want to touch, but don’t know where or what”. Shot on location in Bangalore, India and San Francisco, CA, USA, Flying is a poetic visual documentary journey about loving, grief, letting go and a search for faith.
