Inspired by an encounter with a person with the Guillain-Barré syndrome - a disorder of the nervous system affecting the general muscle function of the body - dancers Igor Shyshko and Tale Dolven (ao Rosas) what does this mean? explore instability and limitation of movement. They support, guide and take care of each other. Visual artist Katleen Vinck creates an intervention in space based on the idea of asymmetry. Simple objects function as an obstacle and as a framework for the movement of the dancers. The result is a physical performance with a whimsical movement language reminiscent of the characters of the Russian absurdist poet Daniil Kharms: somewhere between the possible and the impossible.

lostmovements is a solo of Marc Vanrunxt for Jan Martens.
For lostmovements Vanrunxt and Martens delve into their own vocabulary and get inspired by the greats from past and present times: choreographers, composers and other role models. They create a new work in which the focus lies on the motivation of movement. lostmovements is surrendering oneself to the music, to the material and to each other. Getting fully absorbed into the universe of the other.
The space is designed by visual artist Katleen Vinck. Mezzo soprano Els Mondelaers reworks existing pieces of music. The team is also strengthened by lighting designer Stef Alleweireldt and Marie-Anne Schotte for artistic advice during the creation process.
