These are short films I directed and in some cases wrote, or co-wrote, and somehow we managed to shoot most of them on super 16mm film. They were either self financed, privately financed by keen investors, or funded through sporadic overseas short film grants, web-series grants, or funded by the Australian Film, Television & Radio school since about 2008.

Most of these short films have been selected to play in competition at some pretty great (academy accredited) festivals in Australia and the U.S, as well as picking up various nominations and awards, not just for myself but for the cast and crew involved too. As I delve deeper into long form writing and development, and I tumble down the dark rabbit hole that is long form storytelling, my short film output decreases, though I still manage to knock one out roughly once per year. Having said that, I was really, really terrible at pushing these short films on the festival circuit. Most of the festival listings you see are the only ones we submitted to, which I later came to realize meant that people were actually interested in seeing them, and since I didn't have much of a head for anything but making the next film, I left a lot of these films dangling on the festival circuit and never really gave them a real shot at being seen when I really should have, not just for my sake, but the sake of the films and everyone else involved. Irrespective, here they are :)
