  4. The Book of ██████ web app: Users can redact text on iPad, iPhone or in a browser. The text consists of parts of poems from legend legend the book. There is a corresponding image for each block of text they interact with. As they redact, the image changes, is itself redacted. Text and image are remapped by the user.

Once the user reaches 99 characters or less they can submit it. He/she can submit with or without a twitter handle, but users will only get attribution if they include a handle.

Each user submission of text and image is then tweeted out to the @legendcgjp twitter site and recorded in a database to be used as an appendix in the forthcoming legend legend iBook.

The goal is to allow people to remap and make the project personal to the user and to help create new words and images that continue the evolution of the collaboration between Carla Gannis and Justin Petropoulos.

Artist and developer Eric Rieper built this application as a commission by Carla Gannis and Justin Petropoulos // Supported by Jaded Ibis Productions and Transfer Gallery
