  2. Screened at BFI Soutbank & funded by Film London.

Political advertising has got smarter. But have we?

This quirky drama-documentary, combining expert interviews with a good old-fashioned alien invasion melodrama, introduces us to some of the amazing techniques being employed by advertisers, explains how data from social media is fuelling them, and investigates whether our democracy is under attack.

Should we be changing our online behaviour?

Will the data-guzzling aliens be defeated?

    Watch it and find out…

  5. Leigh Hodgkinson's dark, atmospheric and texturous puppet animation 'Stalk' was created for the Pulse Scheme. Deftly weaving model animation of the director's favourite and well-loved childhood bunny (who gratiously had her stuffing replaced by armature for the shoot…) with composited photographs and delicate lighting and smoke effects, the film plays out like a modern urban faery tale. What will happen when bunny and, er, lettuce, finally meet?

    Hey guys,
The short film that was made in my final year of university with George Warren is now on Vimeo it would be great to know what you think. ’Uki is a short stop frame animation following a lonely Inuit who struggles to survive after an oil tanker leaks oil off the coast of Alaska, killing all the wildlife in the area. A dark comedy about companionship, loneliness and pollution. Created and funded as part of the BBC and BFI's Animation 2018 scheme.’
