Chiedza's song is a 70 minute film telling the story of a young Zimbabwean woman growing up with HIV. The film is shot entirely from Chiedza's point of view - as she tells her story of survival through teenage years. It is designed to provoke discussion among community audiences. This short trailer shows how many of the issues raised in Chiedza's song are common themes of adolescent health. It links the film into the Lancet Commission for Adolescent Health and Wellbeing. The Commission was set up by the Lancet in partnership with 4 leading research institutions to come up with a consistent narrative and recommend action to improve global adolescent health and wellbeing.
