  5. Throughout my experiences both studying and delivering medical care, I have come to notice a trend among good physicians and strong educators; they are storytellers. They weave otherwise complicated lessons throughout simple, engaging narratives. The result goes further than the retention of their lesson, it makes it easier to pass on. My recent medical education - and my objective as a physician is to implement this principle on a grand scale. As such I have endeavored to learn photography, videography, and expand my knowledge of both the humanities and technology with hopes of better sharing an empowering healthcare message.

The official Channel of Julian Hinson, who went to medical school and bought a camera.

(and that's how it all started)
As medical students, graduate students, exchange students, newlyweds, and recent grads, the subjects of my photography are weaving their way through life - despite it's challenges. They, like me - can't afford to know their limits, and have taken extraordinary risks to better themselves. I am their peer and their photographer.

NKYINKYIM - the symbol in the logo, represents the initiative, persistence, and versatility that I hope to capture in these images, and that I must daily embody in my own life en route to something greater.
