  2. Gilbert "JR" Henry moved from Belize to Chicago four years ago and struggled to fit in. He got involved with the wrong crowd and ended up in jail three times. He was on a dark path in recent years, dropping out of school and joining a gang.

    But a few months ago he found Curt's Cafe in Evanston, a place of refuge that doubles as both a restaurant and training center at-risk youth. The program is three months with the goal of helping the youth in the program find a job by the end. We meet JR in the third month. This is the story of JR's journey from gangs to a different life for himself.
