The winners of the Migration Policy Institute’s 2011 E Pluribus Unum Prizes honoring exceptional immigrant integration initiatives discuss immigrant integration and the shared responsibility at the federal, state, and local level to ensure that immigrants become full participants in the economic and civic life of the United States. The discussion, which took place on May 18, 2011 before the E Pluribus Unum awards ceremony opened with brief comments from Margie McHugh, Co-Director of MPI’s National Center on Immigrant Integration Policy (00:00:05).
