1. Thomas Earnshaw makes a watch for every occasion, and with that in mind, they think it’s a good idea to invest in and develop a ‘watch wardrobe’, and we’d have to agree. Finding a watch that suits weekend casual wear as well as it does slick suiting is hard, maybe impossible, so having a few options of differing styles seems like a great idea to us. Esquire teamed up with the eponymous watchmaker for a four-episode series of films that look to match some of Autumn/Winter 2015’s best looks with watches from Thomas Earnshaw’s extensive range.

  5. In November 2014 James Lowe, head chef of Lyle’s in London, took chefs from around the world to Scotland to show them what marks Britain’s cuisine apart from the others – game.

The chefs, flown in from Mexico City, New York, Sydney and Paris, were taken to Scotland to shoot and stalk game, and were then given the chance to cook with produce they’d never used before.

The dinners took place on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th November 2014. For diners, it was a chance to experience some of the best international chefs bringing their own interpretation to British seasonal ingredients.

On Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October, Lyle's will be hosting Game the second time around. This year, James has invited the following chefs to join him in Scotland and then back in the kitchen at Lyle's:

    Dave Pynt
    Matt Lindsay
    Dan Burns
    Matt Orlando
    Jair Tellez
    Analiese Gregory
