It's not usual you can take a trip to Italy on your lunch break, but if you have the fortitude to brave the line that bends around the block you will be gifted with a sandwich that you can only get one other place, Florence, Italy.

The cool kids from All' Antico Vinaio have made the journey to NYC to gift us one of the finest delights between two slices of bread. Fresh baked focaccia (sciacciata all'olio), pecorino cream spread, fried eggplant, artichoke mousse, and specially sourced finocchiona (sbriciolona) salami that is so fresh and flavorful you'll give up cured meats cause, really, what's the point of eating anything else.

This sandwich is exquisite, and it's worth really any wait, because the option is a 8 hour flight to Florence, where yes, there is a line there too for their sandwiches.

Get them while you can at Otto in NYC ... special thanks to Otto and Chef Gaetano Arnone for bringing a little bit of Florentine flair to our fair city.
